A Christmas Bonus You Plan for Yourself

A simple way to build a yearly payout you can look forward to every Christmas.

Imagine getting an extra Christmas bonus every year.

Not from your employer. Not from working extra hours. But from savings you set aside a few years ago.

Maybe it goes to Christmas shopping. A family trip. Or simply something nice to enjoy during the holidays.

Sounds good, right?

Here's How It Works

The idea is simple: set money aside for two years, then give those future Christmases something to look forward to.

With PRUWealth 10 Flex Elite, a 10-year endowment life insurance plan, you pay premiums in Year 1 and Year 2.

Your plan, over ten years

  1. 01Years 1–2: Pay your premiums.
  2. 02End of Years 3–10: Receive eight guaranteed annual payouts.
  3. 03End of Year 10: Receive 100% of total annual premiums paid as the maturity benefit, subject to policy terms.

Payouts and the maturity benefit require the life insured to be alive and the policy to remain in force on the relevant dates. Outstanding policy loans and interest reduce benefits payable.

A Little Christmas Timing

Starting early gives you time to prepare for future holidays. The first payout comes at the end of the third policy year, with later payouts on policy anniversaries—not automatically in December.

If Christmas is the goal, you can set a payout aside for the holidays. Confirm your actual payout dates in your personalized proposal.

Picture it: the gifts under the tree, the family around the table, and the quiet joy of knowing you planned for this moment.

That feeling is worth starting early for.

What Your Christmas Bonus Could Look Like

Here is a sample, based on annual premium payments:

Your future holiday fund, at a glance
Annual premium for 2 yearsTotal premiums paidAnnual payout, end of Years 3–10
₱250,000₱500,000₱27,500
₱500,000₱1,000,000₱55,000
₱1,000,000₱2,000,000₱110,000

The yearly payout is 11% of one annual premium. That is equivalent to 5.5% of the total premiums paid over two years; it is not an 11% annual investment yield. These examples illustrate the payout formula, subject to the policy conditions above.

It is just another way to make your savings work for you.

Starting Point

The minimum annual premium is PHP 250,000 for two years—a total commitment of PHP 500,000 under annual payment mode.

Before committing, leave room for your everyday needs, emergency savings, and other goals. Ask to see the surrender values and what happens if you need the money before maturity.

Your next step

Make room for future Christmases.
