Start conversations
Reach out to people, reconnect with contacts, and invite those interested to a financial planning conversation.
Part-time financial advisory · PRU Life UK
Build a financial advisory practice alongside the life you already have—with work you can do from home, guided training, and a team to grow with.

The work, explained
You will build relationships, help people understand their financial protection options, and provide ongoing service. Here is what that looks like in practice.
Reach out to people, reconnect with contacts, and invite those interested to a financial planning conversation.
Ask about a client's goals, responsibilities, budget, and existing protection. Get to know what matters to them before discussing options.
Work with your mentor to prepare suitable proposals. Help clients understand benefits, costs, and policy terms so they can make an informed decision.
Follow up on questions, assist with application requirements, and keep clients updated on the next steps.
Stay in touch after a policy is issued, help with service requests, and arrange reviews as their circumstances change.
Update your activity tracker, discuss progress with your mentor, and practise the skills you are developing in training.
Set aside a focused daily block for outreach, follow-ups, preparation, or learning. Client appointments and scheduled training may need additional time.
Handle outreach, planning, and online appointments from home. Keep a reliable internet connection and a quiet, private space for client conversations.
Meet online for reporting, progress updates, and a chance to work through questions with your mentor and team.
Develop your skills in client conversations, product understanding, presentations, and ongoing service through guided learning and practice.

Adapt this routine around your appointments and team schedule. It is a starting point for planning your time.

Alongside your online work, make room for a Saturday branch meeting: catch up, share ideas, learn together, and enjoy some fun fun fun.
There are Christmas parties and celebration events, too—time to celebrate milestones and get to know the people growing alongside you.
We'll discuss the Saturday meeting schedule and attendance expectations when we talk.
Something to work toward

Work toward qualifying for local and international incentive trips through eligible performance programs.
Opportunities to qualify for performance bonuses as you build your practice and meet program requirements.
Opportunities to qualify for HMO and insurance benefits, subject to the applicable eligibility requirements.
Trips, bonuses, and coverage depend on the current program terms and your qualification. We'll walk through the requirements with you before you decide.
Financial advisory income is primarily commission-based. Earnings depend on the business you build; a daily time commitment does not guarantee an income amount.
Let's look at your availability and your employer's policies or employment agreement. The routine also needs room for client appointments, training, and branch activities.
You can explore the opportunity without an insurance background. We'll explain the onboarding, training, and licensing requirements before you begin advising clients.
Much of the daily work can be done from home, with Zoom catch-ups and training. Saturday branch meetings and some client or team activities involve meeting in person.
